I think it's about time that Canada be held accountable. For the Sixties Scoop. I'm from Winnipeg. I was one of the many thousands of native children taken and adopted out. I've been waiting a long time for this. When I made my way back to Winnipeg from the State of Michigan. I was 19 years old. This was in 1984. A year later I spoke with a native lawyer about sueing the government of Canada for what happened to me. He said he didn't think it was the time. It's been 27 years. Now I see that lawsuits are being filed. I'm very excited to see this happening.
